Smart usage
Auto keypad lock
You can set the keypad to lock automatically after a preset time delay when the phone is in the standby mode. Select Menu > Settings > Phone > Automatic keyguard > On. When the keypad lock is on, calls may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.
Delivery reports for messages
If you want to know whether yoru message was delivered to the recipient, activate the Delivery report feature. Select Menu > Messaging > Message settings > Text messages or Multimedia msgs. and set Delivery reports to Yes.
Call waiting function
While on the phone, you may be notified of another incoming call by a special tone. To activate this feature, go to Menu > Settings > Call > Call waiting > Activate.
Shortcut to SMS
You can have a fast access to SMS writing screen: in standby mode, scroll left and start writing a text message.
