Ovi Maps works with phones using Symbian 3.0 release 2 and Symbian 5.0 software. To see if your phone is compatible, check the Ovi maps support website

Install PC Suite or Ovi Suite and use the Nokia Software Updater Application
Alternatively, you can update from your phone:

select Options > Check for Updates
